Questions

How fast is level 1 of the beep test?

It depends on the version. The Léger test starts at 8.5 km/h, the MSFT (Ramsbottom) and PACER start at 8.0 km/h. In all of them the speed goes up by 0.5 km/h at each new level.

When is a player out?

In the standard version a player is out after two misses in a row, or when they stop. In the PACER version the second miss ends the test, even if the misses are not in a row.

Can I compare results from different beep test versions?

No. The same level and shuttle mean a different distance in each version, so compare a player only with results from the same version.
